Dan Kowalczyk opened Tiempo in 2020 in a two-bay rental across town with one lift and a borrowed scan tool. The shop moved to 123 Main Street in 2023, added bays as it went and now runs 6 of them. Dan still works mornings in bay 1.

We are not a franchise and we are not a dealer. Nobody here is paid on commission, the owner answers the phone when Marisol is at lunch, and the technician who inspects your car is the one who repairs it.
That size cuts both ways. We will never be the cheapest oil change in Omaha, because we do not use the oil change as bait. What we can do is tell you honestly what your car needs, do that work properly with parts we trust, and stand behind it for three years.
Most of our customers have been coming for years and found us through someone they know. If you are new, the easiest way to see whether we are your kind of shop is an oil change: the inspection report you get back will tell you a lot about how we do things.

36 months or 36,000 miles, parts and labor
Every repair we do is covered for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, on both the parts and the labor. If something we fixed fails, we fix it again at no charge.
If it fails while you are out of town, the warranty is honored at thousands of participating shops across the US and Canada. Call the number on your invoice and they will direct you to the nearest one.

We sponsor the high school robotics team and a Little League team that has not won much but has very nice jerseys. Twice a year we run a free car-care class for new drivers and their parents: how to check oil, change a tire and read a dashboard light. The next one is in March. Ask Jen to put you on the list.
